Puen Xu
Robotics MSE Student at University of Pennsylvania.
I am a second-year robotics master's student at Penn's GRASP Lab, working under the supervision of Dr. Linh Thi Xuan Phan. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with High Distinction in May 2024, where I worked on legged loco-manipulation under Dr. Mahdi Agheli.
I am passionate about intelligent autonomous systems that are both efficient and trustworthy. My current research leverages toolboxes from the distributed systems domain to design resilient multi-robot exploration systems capable of withstanding Byzantine threats. Looking ahead, my long-term vision is to develop frameworks for safe planning and control of multi-agent systems.
I am actively seeking R&D opportunities in the robotics industry and PhD positions for Fall 2026 in academia. Please feel free to explore my portfolio website to learn more about my experiences and journey.
